Our annual Business Houses event is taking place from the 16th – 27th August.

 This traditionally has been our largest event of the year attracting over 200 entries.
The event caters for all standards from Beginner to Advanced and is done in a team format of 4 players.
If you do not have a team and would like us to find you one please just fill out the entry form here
and send it into the club and we will do the rest.

Friday Night Tennis will now run for the first 3 Fridays of every month, with format of play changing weekly.

Senior League is upon us - nearly...

We have to enter the number of teams by Wednesday the 14th.  If you are interested  please contact David Doyle or Eva O'Reilly, our captains.

Age groups are over 35s and possibly over 45s if DLTC go ahead with that age group

What a weekend!  Naas ruled the Tennis World!

Naas LTC hosted a number of the DLTC Summer League Finals, including 4 - yes 4! - of our own teams.  Results as follows:

Ladies' Premier Team - close runners-up to Fitzwilliam 1sts
Men's 1sts - Winners Class 1 (now promoted to the premier League.....they have finally caught up with the ladies!)
Ladies' 6th team - Winners Class 6 - promoted to Class 5
Men's 3rd team - Winners Class 3 - promoted to Class 2

Junior Summer Camps - Notice

Camps are starting on Thursday the 1st of July
They will run on the Thursday the 1st and Friday the 2nd.
Week break for 5th to 9th due to Junior Open
Camps resume on Monday 12th July and will run daily until 27th August.

Timeslots:

10am - 1pm = Primary School up to 5th Class
(Important note - child must have completed Junior Infants in June 2010)

2pm - 5pm = 6th Class (starting September 2010) to 18 years of age.

All Primary School children MUST be signed in by their parent/guardian every day.

Daily Fees: €5 for one child, €8 for two children from the same family; €10 for 3+ children from same family

You MUST be a member to attend.  If you want to become a member, please talk to our Junior Supervisor, who will be in attendance every day.

Ladder System Posted!

Please familiarise yourselves with the rules of the system before playing.

 We would encourage as many members including all our new members to take part in this as it will be an ideal way to get more games and get to know more people. If you are a league player it is compulsory that you enter the ladder as it will help the committee in the selection of teams.
Rules are posted in the club foyer and are online under Competitions Section.

We are also running a doubles ladder that we are going to try and work with. There is also a sign up sheet for doubles pairings to put their names down. If you do not have a partner or would like the committee to find you one that will be no problem?

COURT USAGE UPDATE

We are using a calendaring system to provide all proposed Court Usage in the club so that members know in advance how busy the club potentially be.  We urge you to check here to ensure you understand the busy periods that the club goes through.  Once you click on Court Usage, a calendar will appear.  You can drill down to a weekly level in the calendar by clicking "Week" in the top right hand corner.
